Watch-movement characterisation

Watch accuracy, in particular mechanical watches, is an important criterion for user satisfaction. To this end, the movement characteristics are carefully tested.

  • On mechanical movements: 0h – 24h rate and amplitude, thermal coefficient, power reserve, winding rate (automatic movements), functions test: winding, time setting, power reserve indicator, chronograph, calendar, repeater, chime…
    Long-term rate and amplitude test
  • On quartz movements: rate, consumption, thermal coefficient, electrical measurements, functions test…
    Long-term consumption measurement
Functions force and torque measurements: stem, crown, push-pieces, correctors, mainspring…
