Tropical climate and agressivity test

Tropical climate tests will expose the items to a standardized conditions of temperature and relatve humidity, while aggressivity tests will check the tarnishing effect of potentially releasing material on an assortment of defined metals and alloys under specific conditions. The following standards may be followed :

n

Tropical climate according to 40/92 DIN 50015

n

Tropical climate according to EN ISO 6270-2

n

Agressivity test according to NIHS 96-50

Such tests allow to evidentiate :

n

Possible surface contamination

n

Potential effects of material on other sourrounding items

Copper sulphite development on the surface of a copper plate in contact with leather(aggressivity test)

Rust buildup on the surface of a non alloyed steel (climate test)
